Open a Parasolid file
in FreeCAD.

Updated 2026-10-01

FreeCAD cannot open Parasolid files: .x_t and .x_b are not among the formats it imports. Convert it to STEP below, then open the .step in FreeCAD. FreeCAD imports a STEP file as an exact solid, with its colours if the file carries them.

What FreeCAD can import was checked against its own documentation: FreeCAD supported formats. Software changes; if a newer release imports Parasolid directly, use that.
